The Lubbock Liberty workshop for January 2014 features four of the five Lubbock County Republican Primary Election Candidates for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 4: Ann-Marie Carruth, Brenda Willis, Gary Vaughn, and Margaret Anne Brown.

Debra Burton could not attend due to work.

We hope to inspire discussion and clarification on the role Justice of the Peace plays in protecting our personal liberties. Given the current significant interest in the race for Justice of the Peace Precinct 4, we are thankful for the opportunity to hear more from each candidate and their own perceptions of the purpose for this elected county position.

Lubbock Liberty Workshop With Professor Arnold H. Loewy And Dr. Donald May

The October 2013 Lubbock Liberty workshop featuring special guest speakers Professor Arnold Loewy of the Texas Tech University School of Law in a casual debate with Dr. Donald May, a candidate for the United States House of Representatives for the 19th District of Texas.

Dr. May and Professor Loewy will present arguments and rebuttals regarding the proper degree of influence that religion should have on public policy.

Following Prof. Loewy's and Dr. May's speeches, the floor is opened for questions, answers, and comments.
